Overview and purpose

In an era of polarization and misinformation, knowing how to debate in a structured and persuasive way is an essential skill for those who want to influence public discourse and actively participate in society.

This intensive 3-day bootcamp provides young people with the skills to argue effectively, use evidence-based reasoning, and engage in constructive discussions.

Through debate simulations, rhetorical techniques, and critical analysis, participants will learn to defend their ideas with confidence and strategically counter opposing arguments.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Rome and Final Debate

  • Morning: Visit to symbolic sites of rhetoric and public debate, such as the Italian Parliament and historic squares known for political discourse.
  • Afternoon: Debate competition among participants with expert feedback and final certification.
