Teaching Media Literacy

Overview and purpose

Every day, teachers are on the front lines, helping students figure out what’s actually true in a world of constant digital noise. It’s no longer just about teaching the curriculum; it’s about giving kids the tools to spot misinformation and use social media without losing their way.

This 5-day workshop is part of erasmus+ teacher training courses and focuses on giving educators practical tools to support critical thinking and media awareness in the classroom.

The course combines media analysis, misinformation awareness, and creative content creation, helping teachers build lessons that encourage ethical and responsible digital citizenship. Set in Rome, the experience also supports professional exchange through erasmus teacher mobility, allowing educators to learn from one another while gaining fresh inspiration. As one of the focused erasmus+ teacher training courses, it blends hands-on learning with meaningful cultural exposure.
