Designed as part of erasmus courses for teachers, this 6-day practical training supports early childhood and primary school educators who play a critical role in shaping children’s foundational years. 

The course focuses on creating inclusive classrooms for diverse learning needs, integrating effective teaching methods that support cognitive, emotional, and social development, and managing classrooms while fostering creativity and engagement.

Day 1: Understanding Early Childhood Development

Day 2: Inclusive and Differentiated Teaching Strategies

  • Morning: Understand diverse learning needs and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Afternoon: Explore tools and techniques for supporting children with special needs and creating an inclusive classroom environment.

Day 3: Building Strong Foundations in Literacy and Numeracy

  • Morning: Develop engaging lesson plans to promote early reading, writing, and language development.
  • Afternoon: Explore hands-on approaches to teaching numeracy and problem-solving skills through real-life scenarios.

Day 4: Promoting Creativity, Play, and STEM Education

  • Morning: Learn the importance of play-based learning and explore creative activities that nurture imagination and social skills.
  • Afternoon: Discover strategies to introduce STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts in age-appropriate, engaging ways.

Day 5: Classroom Management and Parent Collaboration

  • Morning: Master effective classroom management techniques to create structured, supportive, and positive learning environments, and learn how to build strong partnerships with parents to foster collaborative support for children’s learning and growth.
  • Afternoon: Develop your personal action plan to implement new strategies in your classroom. Celebrate your achievements with certificate distribution.

Day 6: Reflection, Action Plan, and Guided Tour of Rome

  • Guided cultural tour of Rome: visiting the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona to end your learning journey with inspiration and connection.
