On 7 January, partners from across Europe came together in Berlin, Germany, for the Kick-off Meeting of the ReBalance Erasmus+ Project, a new initiative focused on advancing women’s employment through adult education.
Representatives from ODBK (Germany), Mpro (Lithuania), Alfa Edu (Italy), Akadimos (Greece), and the European Network for Holistic Integration (Sweden) met to officially launch the project and align on a shared vision for the journey ahead.
From the very first discussions, one idea stood at the center of the meeting: meaningful career progression for women starts with access to the right skills, confidence, and supportive learning environments. Together, partners worked on shaping the project objectives, finalising the management and quality frameworks, and defining a clear dissemination strategy to ensure long-term impact.
The meeting also marked the beginning of the project’s first key activity: the Leadership Bootcamp, which will take place in Sweden. This activity will lay the foundation for strengthening leadership capacities and employability skills among women through targeted, practical adult education.
Co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme, ReBalance brings together expertise from multiple countries to support women’s professional development, foster inclusion, and create sustainable pathways for career growth across Europe.
